2008 Camarillo Air Expo
"Wings Over Camarillo": August 16th and 17th
The Camarillo Air Expo, formerly the Camarillo Air Show, invites all pilots and aviation enthusiasts to a weekend of fun in the air and on the ground. There will be planes of all sorts and descriptions flying: experimental planes, factory new and used planes, WarBirds, and ultralights parked for close up examination. Several planes will be offering attendees a plane ride for a nominal fee. A new feature for this year will be the opportunity for people 15 years old and older to learn about the process of becoming a licensed pilot by participating in the Learn to Fly Discovery Center. There will also be a variety of booths with interesting things to see and buy. Come and enjoy yourselves.

The 2007 air show pictures are here. There were nearly 2,000 pictures submitted from which 100 were selected as the best from the point of view that they show an interesting activity in an interesting way. We hope you will like them as much as the selection committee did. The committee added the photographer's name on each picture so if you are interested in obtaining a copy, you may contact the photographer. All the photographers gave thier permission for thier pictures to be published on this web site for your viewing pleasure. Please Note
The next 2008 Camarillo Air Expo planning meeting will be held on Thursday evening at 6P.M. in the Wright Place. The meetings are every week until the expo.
The Volunteer workers can pick up their t-shirts at Camarillo Hanger 167 on Thursday, August 14th after 10am or on Friday or Saturday (August 15th or 16th) after 9am.
EAA Chapter 723, the driving force behind the air expo, has maintained a chapter store for several years. Recently the store manager has added the capability to order chapter logo products on line. Click here to go the the store.
